Assurant, Atlanta Habitat dedicate 15th Habitat home in Marietta

Smyrna-based NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and Assurant dedicated their 15th annual Habitat house on Chestnut Hill Drive in Marietta on June 28 to new homeowners — the Retta family. (Pictured above: The Retta family’s new home in Marietta.)
Assurant team members built the new home for nine consecutive Thursdays for the family of four. In addition to the 15 houses sponsored and built in full by Assurant volunteers and the Assurant Foundation, Assurant’s Atlanta office has partnered on two more projects with co-sponsors.
Assurant has 2,000 employees in the metro Atlanta area. NW Metro Atlanta Habitat, serving Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties, is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the worldwide housing organization.
