The house built by Habitat for Humanity for a Marietta family, and dedicated by Peach State Health Plan.

The nine-week construction began on Aug. 12 and is Peach State Health Plan’s second build sponsorship in two years.

“Peach State Health Plan is proud to partner with NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity again to support their mission to build homes, communities and hope,” said Patrick Healy, president and CEO of Peach State Health Plan. “During the past nine weeks we’ve been inspired by the commitment of our employees and other volunteers who have given their time to build this home. It really shows you the true meaning of community.”
Through its build sponsorship, Peach State Health Plan employees contributed hundreds of volunteer hours to help construct this new Habitat home. Key Bank, a cosponsor, worked with Peach State Health Plan to recruit additional volunteers from Morehouse College.

“We are so very fortunate to work with committed sponsors like Peach State Health Plan to transform the life of a very deserving Habitat family. We look forward to continuing this outstanding partnership for many years in the future,” said David McGinnis, president and CEO of NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity.”

This is NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity’s 31st year of building in Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties since 1986.
