NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with The Home Depot Foundation, is proud to announce thecontinuations of the Critical Home Repairs for Senior Veterans Program.
This program serves U.S. Armed Forces Veterans who are homeowners, over 50-years-old and in need of critical home repairs. Critical home repairs include 4 main areas:
- Safe: steps, windows, doors, locks, lighting, electric, etc.
- Warm: furnace, weatherization, hot water heater, etc.
- Dry: roofing, siding, plumbing, etc.
- Accessible: ramps, ADA modifications, accessible kitchens/baths, etc.
Applying for the Critical Home Repairs for Senior Veterans Program is a detailed process. Veterans who meet our qualification requirements are encouraged to fill out a Critical Home Repairs for Senior Veterans Information Request Form. They will be contacted with further details regarding the process. Approval for this program is based on the following criteria: senior veteran status, homeownership in Cobb, Douglas or Paulding County, a need for critical repairs and annual household income within HUD income limits.
