The proceeds came from a number of CAR events this year, including their Multi-Million Dollar Club Celebration, New Home Expo and Annual
Charity Golf Tournament.

The donation will go toward CAR’s participation in NW Metro Atlanta Habitat’s 2018 new home build in Marietta. The build, set to begin in
early spring will be located on Gramling Street in Marietta.

This presentation was the culmination of a yearlong effort on the part of the entire Association, led by CAR president Marilyn Cheney to have
CAR participate with Habitat.

Cheney said that she “can’t wait to participate in the build.” Having taken part in a Habitat build in the 1980s she has fond memories of
building a new home for a deserving Habitat family.
