Jessica Gill, Interim President & CEO

(September 13, 2018) Smyrna, GA – NW Metro Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has named Jessica Gill as Interim President & CEO.

Gill brings extensive experience in serving the residents of Cobb County and neighboring jurisdictions having served as Director of Senior Services for the Cobb County government. In her role, she managed a department of nearly 100 employees, more than 500 volunteers, eight county facilities and a large number of programs, services and budgets for residents 55 and above.

Prior, Gill served as Manager of Business Development for Sunrise Senior Living, where she managed regional strategic partnerships during the acquisition and transition of numerous senior living properties.

Gill also held the role of Public Health Advisor for the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) in the division of Population Health, Healthy Aging. In this position, she served as a project officer managing federal funding for the Healthy Aging Network. Additionally, she led the Health and Wellness community development efforts for the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Area Agency on Lifelong Communities initiative.

“I am really looking forward to using my public service experience to help NW Metro Atlanta Habitat best meet the future affordable housing needs in the communities we serve,” said Gill.

Gill holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from Springfield College, a master’s degree in Public Health from South Connecticut State University, and a gerontology certificate from Boston University. She is a graduate of the Regional Leadership Class of 2016.

She is also the President of the North Georgia Elder Abuse Task Force Foundation and holds a Master Community Health Education Specialist Certification.
