Volunteers Needed! NW Metro Atlanta Habitat will be one of the recipients of a portion of the proceeds of the 2017 Marietta Greek Festival, sponsored by the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church.
We need 50 volunteers. Volunteers will choose a shift and an area in which to work. Areas include serving pastries or food, serving in the coffee shop, helping in the children’s area or at the Greek store. With each shift, the volunteer will be provided with food vouchers for delicious Greek specialties and four weekend passes!
The shifts are:
Friday, May 19, 2017, 6 pm to 10 pm
Saturday, May 20, 2017, 10 am to 2 pm
Saturday, May 20, 2017, 2 pm to 6 pm
Saturday, May 20, 2017, 6 pm to 10 pm
Sunday, May 21, 2017, 11 am to 3 pm
By “being Greek for a day,” you can enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of another culture. We ask you to seriously consider this opportunity to work in partnership to benefit the community, help staff the festival and increase Habitat’s visibility.
