The 33rd Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project gets underway next month in Memphis, TN. This exciting week-long event brings volunteers from around the country to help families build and repair their homes. Each individual brings so much positive energy and enthusiasm to their work. It is truly inspiring to be a part of the experience.
I also know that no matter how much energy and enthusiasm we bring during the week of the Carter Work Project, we can all — at times — use a little extra inspiration and support. This is particularly true when the temperature will likely be over 100 degrees and the pace of work will be intense.
Here’s where you come in: We’d like to invite you to participate in a long-standing tradition and share a brief message of encouragement to the Carter Work Project volunteers and Habitat families.
