We are delighted to welcome Meredith Houseworth, the newest addition to our affiliate’s Board of Directors. Meredith works for KeyBank as a National Group Portfolio Manager in their Healthcare Real Estate Group. Meredith lives in Cobb County with her husband and 2 daughters. She enjoys skiing, sailing, tennis, reading and mostly being with her family.
She answered a few questions for us in recent interview.
Interviewer: How did you get involved with Habitat?
Meredith: I started with Habitat several years ago, volunteering on builds and as the leader of the weekend KeyBank volunteer group.
Interviewer: What do you looking forward to most about working with us?
Meredith: A safe place to live is an essential need in life. To be play a role with Habitat, an organization that helps families accomplish that goal, will be extremely fulfilling. It will also allow me to get more involved with my community and broaden my perspectives by creating relationships with the Habitat team and families.
Interviewer: What would you like to have the general public know about Habitat?
Meredith: Honestly, I would just like to increase the awareness of the organization, how it works, how it serves their communities and greatly impacts not just the home owner, but also the next several generations of the home owner’s family and the community in general. Building safe home environments for members of our community has so many indirect impacts on the family and community.
