Altar’d State is fashion boutique with a focus on young women who want to make a difference. Altar’d State supports communities through their unique initiative: Mission Mondays. Every month, corporate headquarters selects a mission theme. The local store searches for a charity in their own community to match the theme. For that month, 10% of every Monday’s net proceeds goes to the selected charity.
This past December, Altar’d State’s theme was “Keep out the cold.” Store Manager Tamika Williams (photo right) and Assistant Store Manager Brittney Walkey (photo left) thought of North West Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. They raised $750 for our affiliate.
