Fran Sutton joins NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity

Smyrna, GA (August 26, 2015) – Fran Sutton joins NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity as the new Assistant to the President and will report directly to President and CEO David McGinnis.

She will primarily work on community and sponsor relations and marketing. Her many civic contacts will provide opportunities to increase public awareness of NW Metro Atlanta Habitat’s mission.

“We depend on the community to support Habitat’s mission and we are surrounded by great business, community and faith leaders,” said Sutton. “My goal is to expand the support for our affiliate in support of our mission – providing safe and decent homes for families across the tri-county area.”

Sutton brings over 30 years of corporate and volunteerism experience to her role with NW Metro Atlanta Habitat. She served as the executive vice president of Charter Bank; developed and implemented special projects for Marietta City Schools; and led marketing and business operations for Old Mill Cabinet Co.

A Marietta High School and University of Georgia alumna, she is an active volunteer and founding member of 10 Women of Hope, Marietta First United Methodist Church and is the current chair of the board of the Marietta Housing Authority.
